GoodKnight Smart | Product Concept
Smart mosquito repellent feels like a no-brainer waiting to happen.
- Plug & forget. Schedule via phone.
- Automatic cartridge change nudges when the refill is running low.
- Maybe even a subscription that quietly keeps the refills stocked.
I can totally see GoodKnight (Godrej Consumer Products Limited) doing this. They’ve already upgraded their machines recently, plus their new product Godrej Aer O (for cars) is catching on, even in price-sensitive cities like Kolkata.
And credit where due: Godrej has been getting design right, a rare feat in India, where design is usually treated as a nice-to-have, luxury and in some cases, a bottleneck.
Not an IoT expert, but I imagine the effort would be on the lighter side, since comparable connected devices are already in mass production.
Time feels ripe. Alexa, kill mosquitoes.
