Touchy topic. Everyone is asking what AI will replace. Fewer are asking what remains defensible. AI can automate tasks. It can accelerate output. It can expand access. It can improve efficiency. But it does not replace the system behind exceptional humans. That system includes: Core cognition - Judgement - Logic - Decision making - Pattern recognition - Mental models - Frameworks Creative intelligence - Taste - Imagination - Humour - Original thinking - What they ask - How they explore - How they solve Execution intelligence - Management - Communication - Detecting imbalance - Knowing how to preserve - Knowing what to change - Knowing when to destroy and rebuild Human depth - Values - Opinion - Philosophy - Wisdom - Lived experience - Trust The real moat? Not any one trait but a rare combination of many, working together. AI is powerful. But it's a tool. And tools scale capability. What matters most is still earned, not generated. P.S. I wanted to include empathy. But AI has become surprisingly good at mimicking it. Passed the Turing Test.
